A splendid devotional image—a subject frequently depicted by the great masters of sacred art—executed in the workshop of Jacopo Amigoni, who created several versions of this iconic Christian scene.
The composition’s elegance and lightness—exuding a sense of joyful serenity—are hallmarks of the Master's style, resulting in an image perfectly suited for private devotion.
