A beautiful and very young Magdalene with particularly sweet features and far from the usual messages of ostentatious sensuality.

The author portrays this extraordinary female character, who most of all stimulated the creativity of all the masters of ancient painting, in such a way as to make him unusually modest, with a very sweet and innocent face.

The painting is of the finest quality, and intrinsic to the prerogatives of the pictorial style of Pompeo Batoni, one of the most refined interpreters of the 18th century between Florence and Rome.

The work is in excellent condition and is complete with the original faux marble lacquered frame.
