Splendid noble wedding chest in carved walnut and inlaid in maple.
Lid with finely carved edge with scratches and profiled by a notched band.
Elegant front with an architectural line marked by a pilaster in the center and two lateral inlaid with leaf shoots to frame two rectangular moldings profiled by frames with thick indentation.
Each is decorated with a mixtilinear reserve with volutes containing a male and female profile sculpted within a medallion and facing the emblem placed in the center.
The sides are decorated with a similar molding that frames a motif of three small rosettes within the reserve.
Molded base with elegant geometric carving that follows the movement of the three pilasters.
The two lateral pilasters rest on magnificent cantilever feet richly carved with the sunflower flower within multiple borders.
Magnificent internal hinges in the guise of a Florentine lily.
Original lock in perfect working order, complete with contemporary key.
The chest is in excellent condition, still in the first patina
