Beautiful view of the Basilica della Salute taken from the opposite bank of the Grand Canal.

The magnificent scenery is depicted with extraordinary finesse, both in the rendering of the architecture and in the meticulous description of the typical Venetian people and boats.
The reference to the works of the great view painter Francesco Guardi is evident in one of the city's most iconic scenes.

The artist, gifted with exceptional painting technique, perfectly imitates the lively and precise style of the Great Master, capturing his artistic peculiarities with the addition of a more personal palette.
Paintings signed by ZANETTI are quite rare, but all are distinguished by excellent detailing in the manner characteristic of Venetian painting.

The painting is in excellent condition without any restoration and was executed on a panel covered with a very finely woven canvas.
The carved wooden frame is the original.
