A brilliant image of the Grand Canal in a representation full of lights and colors reflected in the waters of the famous palaces illuminated by the setting sun. In the center of the canvas stands out the silhouette of the Rialto Bridge, a white arch between the glow of the Canal and the sky full of pink clouds.

The magnificent Lagoon City offers us one of its most fascinating panoramas, always able to arouse wonder and wonder and to involve the viewer who has already visited it or who only wished to do so.

The author of the work is Luigi Lanza, a valid landscape architect and a great creator of perspective views, especially in Venice, between the 19th and 20th centuries.

The canvas shows a remarkable descriptive ability with a very effective impressionist vein, and a particular knowledge of the characteristics of his city, which he manages to capture in an excellent way.
